"Techno-phobe" teacher adopts eno after only four hours of use

May 11, 2009

"The teachers are loving the eno boards and the kids are so excited about them! One of my teachers who volunteered to start using the board now instead of in the fall is a self-described techno-phobe. She just sent me an email that she loves it! And, she’s only had it up and running for about 4 hours! I think that says a lot for the product and its ease of use. "

eno's quick setup inspires tomorrow's lesson

May 06, 2009

"Our first shipment of eno boards arrived and were mounted today. I could not believe how easy it was to get everything set up. One teacher has already figured out how she’ll be using it tomorrow in reading class.

Thanks again for everything you have done for the district. I can’t say enough about what a positive experience working with Polyvision has been. "

eno's quick setup inspires tomorrow's lesson

April 02, 2009

" eno is currently installed in my classroom and I cannot say enough good things about it! eno is easy to setup and use, which makes all the difference in the world.

While our fifth graders presented a proposal to our school board for their trip to Boston, they were able to use eno with very little instruction. The students made use of several eno features during their presentation: circling important prices, highlighting key words and using the eraser. The eno stylus worked accurately and flowed smoothly on the whiteboard surface. Even eno's magnetic and movable icon strip came in handy, as a left-handed student found it very helpful to move it to a more accessible area on the board.

In the classroom, I use eno every day. For example, we recently finished an interactive unit on the Underground Railroad, then another on Jamestown. Both were huge successes, as the students were able to easily and quickly interact with websites using eno. And, when students come across unfamiliar words, they would go back and forth between desktop annotation mode and the white screen, highlighting the words with the stylus and moving them to the "whiteboard" to record the definitions.

Lastly, the ability to print from the eno is fantastic. I teach three 5th grade classes and we often need to stop in the middle of a lesson. Or, I need to stop and start over with the next class. With eno, I can print where we left off so we are ready to start from there the next day.

As I said in the beginning, I just can’t say enough how much I like eno. It is easy to use, has wonderful features and my students are the fortunate to be able to use this new technology. "
